Why you shouldn't republish a job ad

It's always better to post new job instead of republish an old one.

When initiating a new recruitment we always recommend publishing a new job ad instead of republishing an existing one. If you would like to reuse a job you can copy the job ad and create a new version of it.

If this is a role that you recruit often for you can create a Job template instead.

If you choose to republish a job ad instead of copying it, the following applies:

  • No email will be sent out to all your candidates who have Connected with your company, informing them about the open position

  • Employees will not receive an email to share in their network

  • The statistics from the previous period will still be there

  • The candidates from the previous recruiting will still be in the process

  • The job will not be refreshed on the job boards

However, if you want to republish the archived job, go to the editing view and scroll to the bottom of the page. There, click the arrow right next to the save button and then Unarchive
