# Audit log The **Audit log** provides a detailed record of key activities within your account. Please contact your point of contact at Teamtailor or our Support team to enable this. # Audit log The Audit log displays actions performed in your Teamtailor account. For example, it can display the name of the user who updated a specific candidate along with the time of the activity. ​ Access specific parts of the log by using the search bar, filters, and pagination at the bottom. Depending on how the action was carried out, you'll see one of the following actors: 1. **System**: An action performed automatically by Teamtailor, such as automated processes, triggers, or scheduled tasks. 2. **Candidate**: An action performed by the candidate, for example, updating their information. 3. **User**: An action performed directly by a Teamtailor user. 4. **User via MCP**: An action performed by an AI assistant connected through the [Teamtailor MCP server](https://support.teamtailor.com/en/articles/15842409-connect-an-ai-assistant-to-teamtailor-using-mcp). The action is still performed on behalf of the authenticated Teamtailor user and respects that user's permissions. # Events Here is a list of all the actions that will be recorded in the audit log. ​**Settings** The following actions are related to settings in your account: | **Action** | **Description** | | ------------------------- | ---------------------------------- | | audit-log.create | Audit log was activated | | enabled-feature.create | A new add-on feature was activated | | scorecard-criterium.merge | A skill or trait was merged | **Candidates** The following actions are related to candidates in your account: | **Action** | **Description** | | ------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | candidate.removal\_request | A candidate made a removal request | | candidate.data\_request | A candidate made a data request | | candidate.admin\_data\_export | An admin user downloaded a candidate data archive. | | candidate.destroy | A candidate was deleted.
