With EEO reporting you can allow candidates for USA based jobs to have the option to fill out an Equal Employment Opportunity's form after submitting their job application.

 In this article you will learn how to activate this feature for your account, how this feature will appear from the candidate's end, and how you can view the candidate's answers by exporting them into a CSV file. 

Activating EEO Reporting

You need to go to your settings tab within your Teamtailor account and scroll down until you see the tab called EEO Reporting. Once you have clicked this tab, you will see the option to Activate EEO Reporting.

Once you have done so you can follow the steps below to set up the criteria for the report. 

Choosing the criteria for your EEO Report

1. You can select what criteria to include, such as Gender, Race, or Veteran Status. You can choose one, two, or all three of the options to include.

2. In the example below, only race and gender were selected.

3. It's important to make sure to save any changes, as by default the system will always choose all three options for the form if you don't save.

How the EEO Report will appear for candidates
Candidates will see the option to fill out the EEO Report after having applied for a job. They can choose to skip the option for the time being. However, the system will send them email reminder's to encourage candidate's to fill out the EEO report. It is not possible to make the report a mandatory part of the application. 

Candidates can also toggle the descriptions, if they want more clarification on what each category represents

Once candidate's have submitted their selections, they can move on to fill out the recommendations form and connect to your company as usual.

Candidate's can also choose to skip the EEO Report via the 'skip this step' button found at the beginning and the bottom of the report page. 


How the candidate's answers will appear for you

You can access the candidates answers by once again heading to the EEO Report tab under settings, and selecting a start & end date for the time frame you want to asses the answers from.

1. Select a start date

2. Selet an end date

3. You can then export the information to a CSV file

After having done so, the CSV file will download to your computer and then you can view who has submitted an EEO Report as well as what options they selected
