How to send your jobs to Welcome to the Jungle.

In this article, you will find all the steps you need to complete in order to send your jobs to Welcome to the Jungle from Teamtailor.

How to activate Welcome to the Jungle

This is a paid-for job board. Therefore, you need to have a contract with them in order to use the integration.

  1. Go to our Marketplace

  2. Search for Welcome to the Jungle using the search bar

  3. Click on Activate

👉 Fill out your Welcome to the Jungle organizational reference and save.
You can ask Welcome to the Jungle for this ID.

👉 Contact Welcome to the Jungle so they can manually open the API scope for your account.
You can ask your Account Manager at Welcome To The Jungle or reach out to their support team by emailing them at tech-partners+teamtailor@wttj.co

How to send your jobs to Welcome to the Jungle from Teamtailor

  1. Go into the Promote tab of your job

  2. Click on Welcome to the Jungle in the section "Activated job boards"

  3. Fill out all the required fields (*)
    It contains two pages: the first is required and the second is optional

  4. Click on Publish

Duration - Refresh - Time for the update

Your jobs will be displayed for 60 days. You need to manually click on refresh in order to update the ad. The update is sent instantaneously.

Can I connect multiple Welcome to the Jungle accounts to one Teamtailor platform?

Yes, you can connect multiple Welcome to the Jungle accounts to one Teamtailor platform. What you'll need to do is tick the box Multiple references and format your organizational number in the following way:
org_reference;org name||org_reference;org_name

All my locations are not showing in the drop-down menu to send my job, why?

The locations you add in the settings on Teamtailor are sent to Welcome to the Jungle. Then, you will need to add these locations to your Welcome to the Jungle account as "offices" so that they appear in the drop-down. Since it has not been updated, it needs to be done on Welcome to the Jungle's side. We therefore recommend you to contact Welcome to the Jungle's support and ask them to update it from there.
If you don't select Office on the first page of the form, on the second page we will render input for zip code which will be mandatory.

What happens when a job is unlisted at Teamtailor?

We automatically and instantly update the information that the job needs to be removed from the job board.
Once the job is archived or unlisted, it will not be published again in WTTJ.

My promotion is not working, why?

If it's the first time you promote your jobs to Welcome to the Jungle, please contact Welcome to the Jungle so they can manually open the API scope for your account. ​You can ask your Account Manager at Welcome To The Jungle or reach out to their support team by emailing them at tech-partners+teamtailor@wttj.co

Error: Office is too short

You need to add an office. If you have the message No results found, please set it up first in your Welcome to the Jungle account directly.

Character Limit

The character limit of your job description is 10 000. Note that it’s not only the description, but the HTML characters that are counted as well. When you have the message Description: is too long (no more than 10000 characters), please review your description accordingly:

What will happen if some of the not required fields are left unfilled

It depends: If an optional field is not filled in then you will not have any default values (except for company_description where we take the company description on our site if it's not set), but contract type is a required value on our side.

Custom integration via API key

If you have a custom API integration and wish to switch to the standard one, please contact WTTJ to request the API scope be opened. The partner will then deactivate the previous integration, leaving only the official one active.
Note that if you use your own solution with the API-key (not our integration), we won't be able to troubleshoot any issues, and you should contact WTTJ.

Why are my jobs not automatically sent?

Jobs are NOT sent automatically to this channel, you have to manually activate the promotion via Promote.
