Getting started
To enable the integration, you first have to connect your existing Aboard account through our Marketplace page. Once the integration is activated, you will be redirected to the configuration settings.
In the configuration settings you will need to add your "Aboard API Token" and "Teamtailor API Key":
The "Aboard API Token" is created in your Aboard platform, to configure a new API Token, head to "Settings" > "API Keys" > "New API Key":
Paste the API Key that you've generated in your Aboard platform in to the "Aboard API Token" field.
Next up you'll need to generate a Teamtailor API Key, this is done on your Teamtailor account by heading to "Settings" > "Integrations" > "API Keys" > "Create new API Key":
Make sure that your API Key has the "API Scope" set to "Public" and "Read". When you've generated the API Key it will be available in the drop down under "Teamtailor API Key" in the marketplace activation settings for the Aboard integration. The last step is to click on "Validate Credentials" situated under the fields where you enter your API keys. Now that you've taken these steps the activation is complete.
Set up the workflow on Teamtailor
You can set up the Aboard trigger and send candidate data automatically to the Aboard platform when they are hired.
Start by going to the job where you would like to add the Aboard trigger. Click on the Triggers wand at the top right-hand corner and + Add trigger in the Hired stage. Choose Send to Aboard as new hire to set it up.
Make sure that you configure the mandatory settings for the trigger before finalizing the setup, see example below:
Under "Additional options" you can choose to delay the trigger, as well set up conditions for what candidates the trigger shouldn't be activated on:
