A thumbnail is used to preview a department or location added in the Departments list / Locations lists blocks on your career site. In this article, you will learn how to add or update the thumbnail of your departments and locations. Let's dive in!
Department thumbnail
Start by going to Content in the top navigation to find the overview of pages. Here choose Departments under the segments to filter on all department pages.
Once you have located the department page you wish to edit the thumbnail for, hover over the page and click the three dots followed by Settings.
On the settings page, click on Thumbnail in the left-side menu. Start by choosing the title that will be displayed in the thumbnail image (1), which image should be used (2), and finally a caption displayed underneath the image (3).
Don't forget to save your settings once you are done!
Would you like to add a new department page?
Head over to Settings → General → Departments and click + New department in the upper top right corner. Once the new department has been added, a page will be generated in Content ready to be edited.
Departments list
The department thumbnails will be displayed when using the Departments list block on your career site. This block gives you the possibility to choose three departments that you want to highlight a little extra!
Location thumbnail
Start by going to Content in the top navigation to find the overview of pages. Here choose Locations under the segments to filter on all location pages.
Would you like to add a new location page?
Head over to Settings → General → Locations and click + New location in the upper top right corner. Once the new location has been added, a page will be generated in Content ready to be edited.
Once you have located the location page you wish to edit the thumbnail for, hover over the page and click the three dots followed by Settings.
