By activating our integration with CodinGame, you will be able to add triggers that automatically send tests to your candidates. The tests available to send can be configured within your CodinGame account Once a candidate has completed the assessments, you can then see their results right on the candidate card in Teamtailor.
Getting started
To enable the integration, you first have to connect your existing CodinGame account through our Marketplace page. Once in the marketplace, click on the CodinGame card and press Activate. You will then be taken to your Settings/CodinGame page within Teamtailor where you can add your Api Key. This Api Key will need to be provided by CodinGame so please contact their support team.
Once your api key has been added to Teamtailor, please contact our support with your CodinGame API key to finalise the activation process.
Set up the workflow on Teamtailor
You can set up the CodinGame trigger and send candidates your chosen test suite automatically when a candidate card reaches the chosen stage.
To add a trigger:
Click on the triggers tab under applications in a chosen Job.
Go to a stage where you want the event to happen.
Click the plus button ✚ to add the trigger.
Select the test:
Now every time you move a candidate to this stage, it will tell CodinGame to send your chosen test to the candidate. If you would like to add more than one test, please create another trigger with a different test selected.
You will also see on the candidates card in Teamtailor now has a status of "Sent" under the name CodinGame.
Once the candidate has completed your test, on the candidate card under CodinGame, you will now see a status of 'Completed' with their score out of 100 and a view details tab which has further information about the test completed.
FAQs
Q: Can I filter candidates on a Job by assessment scores?
A: Yes. Teamtailor introduced a new filter option on Job cards to filter through candidates based on their assessment scores. This filter option is available automatically with all assessment integrations including CodinGame.
Q: How come I can't see any tests available when I create a trigger?
A: Make sure to create the tests in CodinGame before activating the trigger. See here for further details.
Q: If a candidate says they don't receive an email with the tests or if no link is provided to take the assessments.
A: Ask candidates to confirm it hasn't been directed to their spam folder. If not try activating the trigger again. Otherwise contact our support team within Teamtailor with the candidate's details and we'll get back to you shortly.
