Create your own integrations and complete your marketplace profile via the Integration's Hub

How to get started?

An official integration with Teamtailor requires a sandbox account. The sandbox gives you access to our Integration's Hub to establish a connection between platforms, and allows you to do testing with the full functionality of the platform.

To get access to a sandbox please follow the steps in this guide. The first step is to apply for the partner program by filling out the Job Board Integration form.

Sandbox & Integration's Hub

Once accepted to the partner program you will receive an invite to a sandbox account. In the sandbox you will find the Integrations Hub which allows you to edit your listing on the Teamtailor marketplace (e.g. with a pitch, logo's and support article), and it's where you create the connection to Teamtailor (generate an XML feed or connect a base_url for the webhook).


Open the Integration's Hub

Log in to your Teamtailor sandbox account and navigate to the Integration's Hub by clicking on your account in the top right corner > and pick settings:

Creating a new channel integration

To get started with your integration you click on "Create a

new channel":


Integration details

At this stage you'll be presented with a form that you'll fill out, this will determine how the integration will work & look when the users promote their jobs to your channel through Teamtailor.

  • Channel name: The name of your company / job board as it should be shown on the Teamtailor marketplace.

  • Channel setup: Here you can pick two options.

    • Agreed with partner - We will list your channel in our marketplace and all of our clients will be able to actively pick jobs to promote on the channel. It’s then up to you to filter the companies on your side. We will not touch any invoices and the financial relationship will be completely between you and the client.

    • Always included XML - All our clients will be able to use your channel for free. When they have activated your channel in our marketplace, all of their jobs will be automatically sent to you. This is free and we will not invoice our clients, neither will you.

  • Integration type: Here you can choose either Webhook or XML. If you decide on a webhook integration, you will need to paste the Base URL in the field below and if you choose XML we will generate an XML feed for you.

  • Promotion can be removed: Check this option if clients will be able to remove their jobs on your platform through Teamtailor. For webhook integrations, we will send an HTTP DELETE request. If you're building with XML, the jobs will be removed when they are unlisted/archived in Teamtailor.

  • Promotion can be edited: Check this option if clients will be able to edit their jobs on your platform through Teamtailor. For webhook integrations, we will send an HTTP PUT request.

  • Promotion can be refreshed: Check this option if clients will be able to refresh their jobs on your platform through Teamtailor. For webhook integrations, we will send an HTTP PUT request.

Marketplace listing details
Now, in order to list you in our marketplace we need some more information about your product and what our clients can expect from the integration. All of this information will be shown in our marketplace.

  • Website: Link to your website so that our clients can visit your website if they're interested in your product.

  • Description: A description of your product & company. Max 250 characters.

  • Pitch: A short pitch of your product & company. Max 150 characters.

  • Support article URL: If you have a support article for how the integration works, you can put that here.

  • Duration: How long will the ad be live for? If the ads stay live until the job gets removed from Teamtailor, you can leave this field empty.

  • Countries: What countries are your channel available in? The countries that you set here will make your channel visible for clients in those markets. If your channel is global, leave this field blank.

  • Logotype: Upload your company/product logotype. It can be PNG or JPG, it should not be smaller than 100x100 px.

Advanced settings

  • Activation form: here you can set the webhook activation config (as an alternative to using a PUT request via the API). Customers will see this form/config when they activate the integration via the Teamtailor marketplace.


Find the integration's API key, XML url feed, and IDs

Once your channel integration is created you can find more details in the Integration's Hub. The available details depend on your channel set up.

You can find the integration ID in the overview. This integration ID is for example needed to set the webhook activation config of your integration via the API.

You can find API key, Job Board ID (not the same as integration ID!), and XML feed url under 'show details'.


Marketplace activations
In the settings of your sandbox you can also navigate to the 'marketplace activations'. The integrations you are building in the sandbox are always automatically activated for you, to allow testing. You can also click 'view settings' to see how your webhook activation config looks like here as well.


Testing the job board integration

In Teamtailor job boards can be activated via the marketplace in the platform, or via the promote tab. The integrations you develop will be automatically activated in your sandbox, allowing you test the full functionality of the integration.

  • If a user activates a job board that is build with the 'Always included XML feed', all their jobs will be automatically pushed to the XML feed of your job board. For your sandbox this means that the test jobs are automatically pushed into your feed for testing. Note that the feed updates three times a day (roughly every 8 hours).

  • In most other cases the user will actively pick jobs to publish to your job board using the promote tab in Teamtailor. For your sandbox this means you have to actively go into a test job, find the promote tab and publish the job ad.

While you are testing make sure to also create support documents to help our common customers and our support team to understand how your job board works. The support documents are also a requirement to launch your job board to the Teamtailor marketplace.
