In this article, you will find all the steps you need to complete in order to publish your jobs to Zeil from Teamtailor.
How to activate Zeil
This is a paid-for job board. You therefore need to have an active contract with Zeil, outside of Teamtailor, in order to use the integration.
Please be aware that activating the integration requires a company admin role on the platform:
Head to our Marketplace, and search for Zeil. From the results, click on the card, then on Activate.
Once activated, you will be redirected to the activation settings, where you need to fill out your Client ID and Client SECRET:
To generate those credentials, you must log in to your ZEIL account, and click on Generate Credentials under Connect Your ATS, on the right side of the dashboard:
Copy your newly generated credentials, and paste them in the activation settings for ZEIL in your Teamtailor account (see step 2):
You have now activated the integration successfully, congrats! You are now all set to start publishing your jobs on ZEIL.
Publishing your jobs on ZEIL
Before everything else, please bear in mind that the salary is mandatory for the promotions to ZEIL to be successful. That is why you will first need to activate our job custom field from your settings, to add a salary range in your jobs:
Once this is done, head over to your job to add a salary range:
Please note: The salary must be populated as a salary range, not an exact value. If the salary is an exact value, the promotion will fail.
Now that the integration is fully activated and the salary properly added to your job, you can head to the Promote tab of one of your published jobs:
You will find ZEIL under your activated job boards. Once you click on it, you will be asked to fill out several fields to create the promotion.
Location: Options in the location field are based on the location(s) selected in the job. Make sure you have selected a location there for it to appear as an option for the promotion. Note that the location should always be in New Zealand.
Job Categories and Sub Categories: After selecting a job category, a second field for sub categories will appear. Both fields are required to be able to publish the promotion.
Card images: Upload card images to your ZEIL company profile before configuring this field. If you haven't already, go to ZEIL, upload the images, close this form, and reopen it.
Tile images: Upload tile images to your ZEIL company profile before configuring this field. If you haven't already, go to ZEIL, upload the images, close this form, and reopen it.
Salary: Mandatory, needs to be added directly from your job.
Please note: The salary must be populated as a salary range, not an exact value. If the salary is an exact value, the promotion will fail.
You have now promoted your first job to ZEIL!

Can candidates apply from ZEIL directly, or are they redirected to our career site?
Candidates will apply directly from ZEIL.
Will the application questions be sent together with the job?
No, the application questions are not sent together with the job at this stage. This is however planned to be implemented in the future.
Can the salary be sent as an exact value?
At this time, you can only send a salary range. Sending an exact value for the salary will result in the promotion failing
I wish to remove the job from ZEIL, without unlisting or archiving my job in Teamtailor, is that possible?
Yes! Go to the promote tab or your job, and click on Edit. From there, you can unpublish the promotion without having to unlist the job entirely.
