Partner: Darwinbox (HR system)

Setting up the integration with Darwinbox allows you to automatically take newly-hired candidates from Teamtailor and add them to Darwinbox.

What does the integration do?

This integration allows you to connect your Darwinbox and your Teamtailor platforms. This means you will be able to send a candidate from within your Teamtailor platform and it will automatically create an employee in Darwinbox.


How to get started

  1. Start with activating Darwinbox in your Teamtailor Marketplace.

  2. You will now find the Darwinbox integration under your account settings -> Marketplace activations. In order to activate the integration, you need to add the following information from Darwinbox:

    1. Client ID *

    2. Domain *

    3. Client Secret *

  3. In order for this integration to work, you also require custom fields. These can be set up and added automatically on this same page:


    ​💡You can click on "Revalidate credentials" (you can see this on the top of the screenshot) to automatically set this up.

Click "Update" and you have now connected your systems and the integration is activated.


How to use the integration

Our integration with Darwinbox works two ways, via a trigger or manually for an individual candidate.

How to use the trigger method:

Adding a trigger means that you can automate the process of activating the integration for any candidate moved to a specific stage of your job process.

Once you have activated triggers in your platform, you will be able to find a new trigger called "Send Darwinbox webhook" that you can add to any stage. When setting this up, you can add some first settings and even add additional information, if wanted:

As soon as a candidate is moved to this stage, the information will be sent to Darwinbox.

How to send a candidate without a trigger

Head to a candidate that you want to send to Darwinbox. In the candidate card you can click on "More" on the bottom of the card and then "Add integrations":

Select "Darwinbox" and set up the information that you desire.


What happens next?

If you chose to send the candidate via trigger or directly from the card, now the candidate information will be sent to Darwinbox and an employee will be created in Darwinbox.


Within the candidate card in Teamtailor, you will be able to see the status of the integration. 🎉


What data is transferred?

The Darwinbox integration requires some mandatory fields and also offers you additional options.

Mandatory information from the candidate card:

  • Employee Type (⚠️ Must match exact value from Darwinbox)

  • Date of Joining

  • Date of Birth

  • Selfservice (Whether employee has self-service access in Darwinbox)

  • Gender

Optional information:

  • Personal Mobile No (10 digits phone number allowed)

  • Marital Status (Married / Single / Divorced / Widowed / Separated)

  • Personal Email ID

  • Current Flat/House/Wing Number

  • Current Street/Locality/Area

  • Current Landmark

  • Current Country

  • Current State

  • Current City

  • Emergency Contact Name

  • Emergency Contact Mobile (10 digits phone number allowed)

​Additionally there are two more fields required. These are not in the candidate card and activated when you create a trigger or use the manual option:

  • Designation Code

  • Office Location Work Area Code
