By activating the hcmfront integration, you'll be able to add triggers that automatically send candidates from Teamtailor to hcmfront.
Getting started in Teamtailor
To enable the integration between hcmfront and Teamtailor, you connect your existing hcmfront account to Teamtailor through our Marketplace page. Head over to the marketplace in the Teamtailor application, search for hcmfront, and click Activate.
Step 1. Activate hcmfront in the marketplace of the Teamtailor application
You will be redirected to the activations page in your settings where you can add your hcmfront API key. You can find this API key in your hcmfront application:
Go to settings in the upper right corner of the hcmfront application.
On the left menu, click on Integrations
On the upper right-hand corner, click on API Credentials
Click on Generar Nueva Llave
Fill out the name of the key, copy it, and click on Seleccionar Todo as shown below:
Scroll down and click on Crear.
Step 2. Add your hcmfront API key
In order for this integration to work, you need to set up some custom fields on your Teamtailor account. Go to the settings in your Teamtailor application and find 'custom fields'. Click 'new custom field' to start adding the below fields (only field type and title need to be defined).
Identification Number (field type: text)
Gender (field type: select - options: Male, Female, Other)
Country (field type: text)
Document Type (field type: select - options: Passport, ID)
Note: these custom fields are mandatory and show on the candidate card in Teamtailor. The field always need to be filled for the transfer to hcmfront to work.
Another mandatory field is the phone number. This is a default field on the candidate card, but needs to contain a valid phone number to allow the transfer to hcmfront.
Step 3. Navigate to the 'custom fields' page, click 'new custom field' to start adding.
Set up the trigger in Teamtailor
Now the integration is activated you can head over to one of your jobs in Teamtailor. From the applications view, you should click on the Triggers symbol (1).
Select the stage from which you want the transfer to trigger by clicking the ➕ (2) in that stage. Candidates that are moved to this stage will be automatically transferred to hcmfront.
Select Send HCM Front webhook to add the trigger.
The integrations allows you to select to which position in hcmfront the candidate should be transferred. When you’re done with the trigger setup, click Add Trigger.
💡 If you want to automatically move candidates between stages based on their results, tick the check-box Move candidate when complete and follow the instructions.
