As an External Recruiter, you’ll use the Teamtailor to collaborate with companies on their hiring. Your access is focused on sourcing and adding candidates, as well as reviewing them in the recruitment processes you’ve been invited to.

Access your account
Once invited to a company's Teamtailor account, you will receive an invite to the email linked to your user. After you’ve created your account, you can log in through our website by clicking the Log in button in the top right corner.
Tip! Save the login link as a bookmark in your browser for easy access.
Now, let's look at what you can do in your role:
Source candidates
As an External Recruiter, your main goal in Teamtailor is to help companies find the right candidates for their roles. You do this using the Add candidates feature, which can be used in two ways:
To a job process
To add a candidate to the process, go to the job in question under Jobs and click the pink + button Add candidates in the top right corner. Candidates you add will get the tag Sourced externally, so the company easily sees which candidates are added by you.
To the candidate pool
You always have the possibility to add candidates directly to the general candidate pool for the company as well. You do this in the tab Candidates, by clicking the pink plus in the top-right corner.
Candidate information
When adding a candidate, you can fill in the information you have at hand. Exactly which information you should add might differ based on which company you’re collaborating with, but make sure to include at least the candidate's email so you can communicate with them.
If you have the candidate's resume at hand, add it in the bottom-left corner, and our parser will automatically add parts of the information for you.
View the recruitment process
Under the main tab Jobs, you will find a list of all jobs you've been invited to help out with. Once you click on one of these jobs, it will show you the job's recruitment process. Here you can add, view, and manage the candidates you (or your team members with the external recruiter role) have added.
To access a candidate’s profile, click their name, and you’ll open up the candidate’s profile. Here you can manage the profile, collaborate with the rest of the hiring team, and communicate directly with the candidate.
Candidate access
As an external recruiter, you only have access to the candidates you have added. You’ll also see any candidates added by an External recruiter within the same Recruitment agency.
This means you won’t see candidates who applied to the job on their own. If you need to see this, reach out to the company, and they can help explore another access level.
Job access
If you’re unable to see the Jobs tab in the main menu, this is because you haven’t yet been invited to collaborate on a recruitment process. Reach out to the company in question for further help.
