How to work with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting in Teamtailor

Updated this week

If you want to enable Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting in your account, you do so using the feature called Surveys. Once enabled, you’ll see that we provide you with two predefined templates for EEO, one for the US market and one for the UK market.

After selecting one of the templates, you will be able to edit the questions added so it’s aligned with your needs.

As with all surveys, you have the option if you want the EEO survey to be Confidential or Open by editing the survey settings.

Once you’ve created the EEO survey, add it to the appropriate jobs/job templates to ensure it is displayed at the end of the candidate's job application.

If you wish to export your EEO report results, click Download EEO report on the survey page. Select the dates you want to include data from, click Download and the survey export will be sent to your email.

The export option is only available for users with a Company Admin role

The export will include the following details:

  • Candidate name

  • Candidate email

  • Date of Job application

  • Job title

  • Remote status (if applicable)

  • Salary information (if applicable)

  • Employment type (if applicable)

  • Employment level (if applicable)

  • If rejected

  • Reject reason

  • Rejected by

  • Current stage

  • Current stage type

  • Date of hire

  • Recruiter

  • Survey questions and given answers

What happens to deleted candidates responses?

Once a candidate is deleted, you will no longer be able to see their details. However, their responses will not be deleted from the platform. This applies both to open and confidential surveys. Therefore, even if a candidate is deleted, the EEO data is kept.

When exporting data, however, any deleted candidates responses will also be excluded.
