What is a Group solution?
Teamtailor’s Group solution connects several Teamtailor platforms with one main platform that ties them together. This is mostly for the external part, namely the career site and candidate experience, but it will also allow you to separate each entity so it can use its own branding, settings, and processes.
The Group solution consists of one parent platform and one or more child platforms.
In this article, you will learn why the Group solution may be the perfect fit for your organization and how it works.
When should I use the Group solution?
Whether the Group solution is a good fit for you depends on the makeup of your organization. You will find examples below of why the Group solution might be best suited for you.
Different regions or countries
If your organization has different regions or countries that operate independently in one way or another, the Group solution may be a good fit for you. Using the Group solution in this scenario will enable you to have different settings, templates, and career sites that fit each country or region.
Different Privacy settings
If your organization has specific needs per country or entity from a compliance and data protection perspective, the Group solution may be a good fit for you. The Group solution will enable you to have different Privacy settings per platform so that you can meet your data protection requirements for the respective entity.
Decentralized recruitment
If your organization has decentralized recruitment teams, for example, one per country or entity, the Group solution may be suitable for you. This will allow each recruitment team to set up their respective templates, processes, and have their own Analytics, for example.
How does the Group solution work?
Different career sites
When using the Group solution, you will be able to have different career sites per entity. This will enable you to have specific branding and information per career site.
You have the option to list all jobs on the parent platform. This gives your candidates a chance to get a good overview of all the jobs you have open in your organization. If a candidate clicks on a job belonging to a child platform, they will be redirected to the job on that platform's career site, where they can apply.
You will be able to add a block with an overview of your company within each account. By clicking on one of these companies, candidates will be redirected to the career site of that entity.
You will be able to enable a filter allowing your candidates to filter jobs by entity on the parent platform’s career site.
The Connect button will, by default, not be available on the parent platform, but this can be activated upon request.
The parent site will have an additional setting called Group site under Settings → Content. These settings will allow you to decide if you would like to showcase the different career sites within your group on your parent career site.
If you do not want your candidates to know if your companies are linked to one another, we recommend that you turn this off using the visibility toggle on the right.
In the Footer of each career site, you will find links to all platforms part of the Group solution:
Different platforms
When using the Group solution, you will have different platforms for your respective entity. This means that you will be able to have completely different backends that are fully customizable to each entity’s needs.
For example, you will be able to have different:
Templates
Settings
Candidate databases
Integrations
For users with access to multiple platforms, they will easily be able to switch between them. This is done by clicking on the Company name → Workspaces. A user can then click on another workspace they have access to, and they will be redirected to the backend of that platform instead.
Group Analytics
If you use the Group solution, you will be able to view aggregated data on the Group level to get Group-level insights into your company’s recruitment processes. Note that this is not activated by default and will need to be set up separately.
When Group Analytics is enabled for the parent platform and the respective child platform(s) that you have requested to be included in Group Analytics, data from all these accounts will be aggregated and presented in the parent platform’s Analytics feature.
This means that the reports under Overview will, by default, include data from the entire group, providing you with a comprehensive overview of the recruitment activities within your organization.
You can read more about Group Analytics here.
Group Employee dashboard
When using the Group solution, you will be able to display all open jobs from the entire group on the parent platform. This will give your employees a good overview of all open jobs across the entire organization. This is not available by default, but can be activated upon request.
