Getting started - Connect Refapp to Teamtailor
As a first step, you need to connect your Teamtailor account to your company account in Refapp. Have an account admin contact our support team and request a Provider ID. When you have this, forward this to Refapp and they will set up the integration. Once this is done, you can move forward with the following steps:
Setup workflow in Teamtailor
The integration with Refapp is enabled using our Triggers, so the first thing you do is to setup the Refapp trigger in your recruitment process. This means the reference check is automatically triggered when a candidate is moved to that stage.
Configure Triggers on Job positions on Teamtailor
Head over to one of your jobs on Teamtailor. From the applications view, you should click on Triggers (1). Select the stage that you want users to receive the reference check, and add the trigger by clicking the ➕ (2). Here you select Send Referral - Refapp.
When you’re adding the trigger, you have three settings you need to review:
Decide if you want to workflow to be automatic or manual
How many referees do you want to receive
Choose which template you want the referee to receive
Once you’re happy with the settings, click Add trigger. Now, when you move the candidate in this this trigger the workflow is fired!
If you have chosen an automatic workflow in the trigger, Refapp will now send out requests to the candidates to submit their referees. Thereafter, questionnaires will be sent out to the referees and the answers are collected in the reference report.
If you want to use a more manual workflow for the digital reference check, after you have placed the candidate in the reference checking stage in Teamtailor: Click on the candidate and then on Link to the candidate in Refapp. The reference checking project is created in Refapp and you can continue with the workflow from there.
When you have received all answers and the process is complete, click on Show report to view and share the answers.
