Automatically pass new hire information to your Factorial platform

By activating our integration with Factorial, you'll be able to add triggers that automatically send a candidates profile to the "Employee" section on your Factorial platform.

Getting started

To enable the integration, you first have to connect your existing Factorial account through our Marketplace page. Once in the marketplace, click on the Factorial card and press Activate. You will be redirected to your Settings/Marketplace activations page where you can paste your Factorial Api Key. You've now completed setting up the integration!

Set up the workflow on Teamtailor

You can set up the Factorial trigger and send your new hires data automatically to the Factorial platform when a candidate card reaches the chosen stage.

To add a trigger:

  1. Click on the triggers tab under applications in a chosen Job.

  2. Go to a stage where you want the event to happen.

  3. Click the plus button ✚ to add the trigger.

Now every time you move a candidate to this stage, it will tell the Teamtailor application to send their information to your "Employee" section on Factorial.

You will also see the candidates card in Teamtailor now has a status of "sent" under the name Factorial.

Depending on whether your new hire is an employee or business/contractor, the fields that will pass information onto Factorial include:

  1. Employee:

    Always Included:

    • First and Last name

    • Email

    Custom Fields (Text):

    • Role (Basic or Admin)

    • Date of Birth

    • Role

    • Gender (Male or Female0

    • Nationality

    • Country

    • City

    • State

    • Postal Code

    • Address Line 1

    • Address Line 2

    • Manager ID

    • Identifier

    • Company ID

    • Legal Entity ID

    • Terminated On

FAQs

Q: What happens if an employee or contractor/business has the same email address as someone already in my Factorial account?

A: You will need to input a different email address before initiating the trigger on Teamtailor as you cannot have duplicate entities in Factorial with the same email.

Q: Do I need to integrate directly from Factorial to Teamtailor in addition too integrating with Teamtailor?

A: As long as you already have an account with Factorial, you only need to complete the integration on Teamtailor.
