How you can use TestGorilla assessments within the TeamTailor ATS

You can connect TestGorilla to your TeamTailor account, allowing you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the summarized results inside TeamTailor. This article explains how that works. The TeamTailor integration is available on the Scale and Business plans and can be enabled by users with Admin or Owner access. Please check with TeamTailor regarding the plan and access level needed on their side to make this work.

Set up the integration

The integration between Teamtailor and TestGorilla is turned on from the inside of your TestGorilla account, and the setup is configured inside of TeamTailor.

Note: Only the owner of your TestGorilla account can set up the integration. They must have the role of Super Admin within TestGorilla to complete the setup.

Connect the integration

From within your TestGorilla account:

  1. Click your name in the top right corner of the browser and select the Integrations option from the drop down menu.

  2. Locate the TeamTailor integration and click the Enable button

  3. Copy the API Key.

Configure the integration

From your TeamTailor account:

  1. Click the name of your company and go to the Marketplace.

  2. Use the search function to find TestGorilla.

  3. Select the Activate button to activate the integration.

  4. Navigate back to the name of your company and go into Settings.

  5. On the right side at the bottom of the list, under Integrations, open Marketplace activations.

  6. Select View settings next to TestGorilla, paste the API key, and click on Update.

After completing the configuration you can start setting up triggers.

Use the integration

After you connect and configure the integration, you can proceed to invite your candidates manually or through a trigger, and review their score within TeamTailor.

Add an assessment to TeamTailor

Here we describe how to set up a trigger that will automatically deliver the assessment to the candidate’s email. To do so:

  1. Go to the Jobs section and select an existing or create a new job.

  2. Click the Job and you will be able to see a list of stages.

  3. After choosing a stage, select the Trigger button and click on Add trigger.

  4. Use the Send invitation button.

  5. Select the test created previously and click on the Add trigger button.

  6. You will then see the trigger under the stage you selected.

Invite candidates to an assessment

Candidates are automatically invited to the assessment from TeamTailor when the trigger is correctly set up as described in the previous step.

There is also an optional step of sending an assessment to the candidate manually:

  1. After clicking into the Job, click the button to create a new candidate to send the assessment invitation.

  2. Fill out the form and click the Add candidates button.

  3. Move the candidate to the stage that has the TestGorilla trigger (for example, the Interview stage).

  4. When opening the candidate’s profile, you can see the status of the invitation.

Review results

Once a candidate successfully completes the assessment, you will be notified and can view the results in the following way:

  1. Select Jobs at the top of the screen on the left side.

  2. Go into the job posting.

  3. In the candidate’s profile, we can see the results of the assessment.

  4. Click the provided link to see the full breakdown in TestGorilla.

Disable the integration

If you decide to stop using TeamTailor with TestGorilla, follow these steps to disable the integration:

  1. In TestGorilla, click your name in the top right corner of the browser and select the Integrations option from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click the Disable button on the TeamTailor integration.

  3. Hit the Disable button on the popup that appears asking you to confirm your choice.
