Certn is a background check and screening provider. By activating this integration, you can send candidate information from Teamtailor to Certn to initiate background checks, and receive the results back on the candidate's profile once the check is complete. This removes the need for manual data entry and keeps screening results in one place alongside the rest of the candidate's information.

To enable the integration, you will first need to navigate to the Marketplace within your Teamtailor platform.

Go to Marketplace and search for Certn.

Click Activate.

In the next step you'll fill out your Certn credentials, click on Update once the configuration is finalized.

Once the integration is active, you can set up a trigger to send a candidate's information to Certn for a background check when they move into a specific stage (e.g., Reference check or Offered).

When configuring the trigger you'll be able to select the "Certn Package" you want to use when sending the background check.

The following candidate information is required to send a check to Certn:

Full name (Standard field)

Email (Standard field)

Once a candidate has been moved to the stage where the trigger has been added you'll be able to follow the status of the background check directly in the candidate card:

Once the background check has been completed the result will be visible on the left hand side under the "Certn toggle".
