Enboarder is an onboarding and engagement platform that focuses on new hire experience and engagement rather than just tasks, forms, and paperwork. In this article, you will learn how to use Enboarder in Teamtailor.
Getting started
To enable the integration between Enboarder and Teamtailor, you have to activate it from our Marketplace page. Head over to Marketplace→Enboarder and click Activate. Our Customer Support team will ask you to provide API key and region from your Enboarder.
You can find the Enboarder API keys on Enboarder's settings page. The region will be either eu.enboarder.com (EMEA), my.enboarder.com (APAC), or us.enboarder.com (US).
Also, in your Enboarder platform, you need to enter the "Other features"-settings. There, as shown in the image below, you must enable the "Settings data with API" setting to allow the integration between Enboarder and Teamtailor to work.
Set up the workflow in Teamtailor
The Candidate is automatically sent to the Enboarder via a trigger you add to a stage in the recruitment process.
To add the Trigger, go to the stage where you want the event to happen. There, click the magic wand at the right-hand side, Triggers (1) and add it to the stage you want by clicking the Add trigger (2).
Select Send candidate, then fill out a short configuration form and you are all set. Every time you move a candidate to this stage they will be immediately added to the Enboarder Workflow.
Manually send the candidate
You will also have the option of manually sending the candidate to Enboarder. This might be especially useful if you would like to set a specific date of start. To do so, go into the candidate page, click three dots on top, then go to the integrations panel and choose Enboarder.
After this, the data of the candidate will be successfully sent over to Enboarder you will see a short message:
Enboarder workflow
If you would like to send candidates to the specific Enboarder workflow, you will need to select workflow criteria in Enboarder (you can edit the current workflow by clicking three dots on the right side). Teamtailor will fetch a list of brands, locations, custom fields, and custom values, and let you choose between them in the trigger config.
If you leave Enboarder Brand and Enboarder Location empty, or Teamtailor does not find a matching set of conditions in your Enboarder account - it will fall back to the default workflow.
Currently, we do not support multiple required at start managers, so make sure you have only one person set as "required at start".
