How to access your connect profile, update settings, and stay updated as a candidate

Connect is a feature designed for you as a candidate to stay in the loop with a company and receive job alerts for roles you may be interested in. In this article, you will learn how to access your Connect profile and what you will be able to find on the Connect dashboard.

Access your Connect profile

To access your Connect profile, head over to the career site of the company in question. On the career page, click the Connect button at the top of the page.

After doing so you will be presented with two options:

1. Not connected yet

If you haven't connected yet you choose the department and/or role you are interested in at this company and click Continue.

After that, enter your email and click Connect or continue with a social profile instead.

2. Already connected

If you have already connected click on Sign in at the bottom of the page.

This will redirect you to the login page, where you select the login method you used when you connected initially.


If you used email as the login method you’ll receive an email to your inbox to confirm your login. This means you don't have a password linked to your Connect profile, but instead use the generated link in the email to log in.

The email you will receive looks something like this ↑ It is sent from no-reply@message.teamtailor.com with the title Login to [Company Name]

Connect dashboard

Once you have connected/logged in you will access your Connect dashboard.
Here you will find content tailored for you as a candidate that the company has decided to share.

Made for You

Explore this section to help strengthen your Connect profile. Here you can for eg. share additional information with the company, answer questions from them, upload your resume, and add recommendations.

Applications

First, you will see any applications you’ve submitted to this company as well as where in the process you are (if the company has enabled this feature).

Jobs

Jobs that match your chosen preference will be shown here. Click on them to see the full job ad and apply.

Settings

In the top right corner, you can access your own settings, customize your dashboard, or log out.

Under Settings you will find the following options:

Account

Add your personal information such as name, email, and phone to help prepare for future applications. You can also upload a profile picture that will be visible on your candidate profile from the company's end.

Your primary role

Here you let the company know what department and role you are most interested in.

Where do you want to work?

Express where you would like to work from by selecting one or several locations available.

Job subscription

Here you can customize for which departments and roles you want to receive new jobs posted as email notifications and how often.

You can choose to receive updates every time a job that matches your criteria is posted och receive a summary once a day or week.

Start by choosing which departments and roles you'd like to keep up-to-date with for job opportunities. Note that the preset selection is based on what you have chosen under the Your primary role section higher up on the page.

Data & Privacy

In this section, you can find information related to your personal data. Here you can for eg. ask to see which data this company has stored on you or request it to be removed.
