When emailing a candidate, you can include specific questions for them to answer. The responses will then be seamlessly added to the candidate's profile.

Send a message with questions

Start by navigating to the candidate's profile and opening the Messages tab. In the message composer, look for the question mark icon. This is where you can add the questions you would like the candidate to answer.

When adding a question, you can choose from the existing questions in your account or create a new one.

You can also set each question as optional or mandatory. Mandatory questions must be answered before the candidate can submit their completed questionnaire.

Answers

When a candidate submits the answers in the attached questionnaire, the questions and the answers will be added on the left-hand side of the candidate's profile, right under Questions.

From the candidate's side

As with any other email, this is delivered to the candidate's inbox. In emails where questions have been added, the candidate will also see a link to a questionnaire at the bottom of the email. The email will look something like this:

Clicking the Show questions button will take them to a webpage with these questions, where they get to answer the questions. When all questions are answered, all they have to do is click Submit.
