By activating the ADP iHCM UK & NL integrations, you'll be able to add triggers that automatically send candidates from Teamtailor to the ADP iHCM onboarding module.

ADP iHCM enables enterprises to digitalize, manage and scale their business through its payroll and HR solutions, whilst ensuring employees feel valued and empowered in their career and workplace.

To enable the integration between ADP iHCM UK or NL and Teamtailor, you connect your existing ADP iHCM account to Teamtailor through our Marketplace page. Head over to the marketplace in the Teamtailor application, search for ADP iHCM UK or ADP iHCM Netherlands, and click Activate.

You will be redirect to the settings. To finalize the installation you must add the Client ID and Client Secret that is provided by ADP. Before ADP provides the credentials you have to sign a 'client instruction agreement' with ADP.

In order for this integration to work, you need to set up some custom fields on your Teamtailor account. Go to the settings in your Teamtailor application and find 'custom fields'. Click 'new custom field' to start adding the below fields:

Now the integration is activated you can head over to one of your jobs in Teamtailor. From the applications view, you should click on the Triggers symbol (1).

Select the stage from which you want the transfer to trigger by clicking the ➕ (2) in that stage and select the 'Send ADP iHCM UK/Netherlands webhook'. Alternatively you can manually trigger the integration directly from the candidate card.

You will be prompted to complete the trigger configuration. The field options are fetched from your ADP iHCM account. The options you select are used to allow a smooth onboarding and to connect the candidate to the correct manager, job, legal entity, payroll group and work location in ADP iHCM. ⚠️ NOTE: For ADP iHCM Netherlands the payroll group is excluded.

When the trigger is activated by moving a candidate into the stage, the candidate will be automatically transferred to ADP iHCM. Make sure the candidate has the first name, last name, email and mandatory custom fields filled (hire date, birth date, gender, salutation).

After selecting the options and triggering the integration, you can start the onboarding of the candidate in ADP iHCM.

Step 1. Log in to ADP iHCM and click “Add an employee” from the dropdown

Step 2. On the Onboarding page click “Add an employee” again

Step 3. On the New starter tab pick “Select from a list”. Then find the candidate you transferred from Teamtailor. You will see that part of the data fields are already completed based on the data you transferred from Teamtailor. Finish the form and submit to complete the process.
