Integrate Teamtailor with ELMO, to enable a seamless process of onboarding new employees.
Getting started
To activate the integration, navigate to the marketplace - accessible from any page within your Teamtailor dashboard, by clicking on your company name at the top right corner.
Note: for this integration you do need access to ELMO API. In case you don't have access you can reach out to your ELMO point of contact.
Inside the Marketplace, locate the ELMO card by either searching for it directly in the search bar, or navigating through our categories. Click on the ELMO-icon to read more about the partner, and also activate the integration.
Once you have clicked on the "Activate"-button, you will need to fill the required credentials, in order for activation process to start.
When you have finished adding the necessary credentials in the activation pop-up, click on "Finish installation" - now, you and your team is ready to use the integration inside Teamtailor.
Setting up the workflow in Teamtailor
There are two ways to use the integration inside Teamtailor.
Automated Triggers
Enter any job or job-template you wish to add the ELMO-trigger to.
Add a new trigger, and select the option "Send ELMO Webhook" from the drop-down menu. In the pop-up page that appears, you will be asked to select a department and position. Once transferred the candidate will be linked to the selected department and position.
Click on "Add trigger" once you have selected a department and position - to finalize the last step.
Once the trigger has been added to the stage inside the job, any candidate that is moved to the stage containing this trigger, will be sent to ELMO, with the selected department and position from the trigger-settings.
Manual trigger of integration
In some cases, you might want to trigger the integration, without moving the candidate between stages in your job-process, eliminating the need of a trigger in this case.
To do so, while viewing any candidate - click on these three dots:
And then select the option, "Add integrations".
A new pop-up page will appear, where you can select which integration to trigger. Select the ELMO icon to proceed - and then, as shown in section 1. - select the department and position to associate the onboarded employee with, and click on "Send Webhook".
This will immediately trigger the integration on the candidate, without them having to be part of a job-process, or moving them between stages.
What happens when the integration is triggered
In the activity section on the candidate-card in Teamtailor, you should see that the integration has been triggered on the candidate-card, and the timestamp of that action.
On the center of the candidate-card, you will be able to follow the status of the webhook/trigger. If the candidate was successfully sent to ELMO, with no errors, you will see the green status "Sent". This means that you should be able to locate the "Onboarding employee" inside ELMO.
If there were any issues when trying to send the candidate-data to ELMO, you will see the red status, "Failed". If you see this, reach out to our support-team for further assistance.
To find the newly onboarded user inside ELMO, follow these steps inside ELMO:Administration > Onboarding > Onboarding Users. From there you can start you ELMO workflows to complete the onboarding.

What type of user does the integration create inside ELMO?
- When you trigger the integration in Teamtailor, we create an "Onboarding user" inside ELMO. In ELMO, you can make the onboarding user into a "General user" once you have completed the onboarding workflow.
How long does it take to create the "Onboarding user"?
- Once you have triggered the integration, the user should appear in ELMO immediately, within a few seconds, unless you have specified a delay in the trigger.
