This article focuses on how to access your account and explains the different login and security methods available.

Create your login
To gain access to Teamtailor, you need to be invited by one of the Company Admin users in your account. Once invited, you’ll receive an email invitation where you click Create account to create your login.
You’ll then be asked to enter your name, email address, and password. The email address used for your invitation will automatically be used as your login email. You can change this later in your user profile settings after you’ve logged in.
If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you won’t receive an email invitation. Instead, you can log in directly with your existing corporate credentials on your company’s career site by clicking Employee login in the career menu.
Password requirements
Choose a unique password that’s hard to guess to keep your information safe. Avoid repetitive or sequential characters (e.g., aaaaaa, 1234abcd) and words related to your username or Teamtailor.
Password requirements:
At least 12 characters (numbers, letters, and special characters)
Not part of any known major security breach
Cannot include your name or email
You can test your password’s safety here. Teamtailor also recommends using a password manager to create and store strong passwords securely.
Multiple Teamtailor accounts
If you already have a Teamtailor account, you can use the same login email for all your accounts. This means that if you have access to multiple accounts, you can connect them under the same login to quickly switch between them.
When you receive an invitation to join an additional account, click Sign in to accept this invitation at the bottom of the invitation page. You may need to log in if you aren’t already signed in to your browser.
Once accepted, you can switch between workspaces by clicking the company name in the upper-right corner in Teamtailor.
Log in to Teamtailor
You will find the login page through the Employee login option in the career menu on your career site or through this link. Here, you will use your Teamtailor account email and password to log in.
If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you instead log in with your corporate credentials.
Login server
Teamtailor processes and stores data in two regions: Europe (Ireland) and North America (Oregon). Learn more here.
Your account is connected to a region based on your company’s location that needs to be selected when logging in. If you’re unsure which region your account uses, contact a Company Admin in your Teamtailor account.
Verify your device
To help keep our customers accounts and data safe, all users need to verify their devices when logging in to Teamtailor. This will only be required once per browser to keep the login experience smooth for future logins. This step verifies that the user logging in owns that email address, which enhances the security of your account.
When logging in to Teamtailo,r you need to verify ownership of your email by entering a verification code sent to your email address:
Please note that email verification will not be required if your company has set up Two-Factor Authentication or Single-Sign On.
Reset password
If you can’t remember your Teamtailor password, you can reset it easily from the login page. Click Forgot password at the bottom of the page, and you’ll receive a password reset email.
You can also go directly to the password reset page here.
If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO), it means you are using your corporate credentials to log in to Teamtailor, and you won’t be able to reset your password through Teamtailor.
Please reach out to your IT department and ask them to assist you further.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
If your company has enabled 2FA, you can set it up under Your account → Security → Setup two-factor authentication.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code. If you can’t scan the QR code, you can manually enter the configuration code shown below.
Please note! 2FA is enabled on your login, meaning that if you have multiple users linked to your login, 2FA is enforced on all users.
If you can’t log in or need to change your authenticator app, a Company Admin can manually disable 2FA for your account. You will then be able to set it up again.
