The Teamtailor Requisition feature enables your company to use a customisable form that needs to be filled out and approved before any user can create a new job. Allowing you greater control over what jobs are published, while also documenting and tracking relevant job data effectively. You can read more about it here.
✨ A Company Admin user needs to request this feature to be added by your Teamtailor contact person or support team. Please note that this feature may come with an additional cost.
Let's take a look at how to approve or deny a requisition to start a new hiring process for your company.
Find Requisitions awaiting your approval
If you are part of an approval flow, you will be asked to take action on the requisition. Once the requisition is submitted, you will receive an in-app notification, but you can also opt-in for more options in your notification settings. A click on the link in the notification will direct you to the requisition page.
To make it extra easy to find and access requisitions you have created or those awaiting your approval, add the dashboard widget 'My requisitions' to your dashboard.
Lastly, you can also find all requests needing your attention in the Requisitions tab. Click on the filter option at the top right corner, then choose Assignee and filter to display only the requests awaiting your approval.

Approve
Upon receiving a request to approve or deny a requisition we suggest thoroughly reviewing the requisition details. If it is suitable, simply click Approve and the flow will move on to the next step. When approving, you can also add a comment for the next approvers and the requisition creator to read any information you wish to share.
Deny
Should it be necessary to reject the requisition, click Deny. This action will prompt a window where you can provide details to explain the decision.
The notification of denial along with your feedback will be sent to the person who created the requisition, and they will then be able to edit it to incorporate the feedback and then submit it again for approval. Once re-submitted, the approval flow will start from the beginning.
Edit Approval flow
Company Admin users and approvers from flows that grant 'Approvers from this step can edit the flow' permission can change who needs to approve. This may be necessary if an approver, for example, is on parental leave and needs to be replaced by someone else.
