Under the Career site section in Analytics, you can learn more about your visitors and applicants. Gain insights into how many visitors and applications you've received, which external channels perform best, and which devices are most commonly used.

Overview

The Career site section displays four different reports:

Report

Description

Track how many visits your career site received during the selected period. Explore a detailed breakdown of pageviews, applications, connections, and more.

Find out which devices your visitors are using most frequently.

Understand where your visitors are coming from and which sources are driving the most traffic.

Identify your top-performing channels and use the insights to optimize future job ad promotions.

Visitors report

This report shows the number of visits, pageviews, and applicants for the selected period, along with the overall conversion rate.

Description

Visits

The number of visits to your site. A visit is recorded when a unique ID is stored in the browser’s cookie for that day (measured from 00:00 to 23:59 GMT).

Pageviews

The total number of pages viewed during visits. Each time a page is loaded in the browser, it counts as one pageview. A single visit can include multiple pageviews.

Applications

The number of visitors who submitted an application during their visit.

Conversion rate

The percentage of visitors who became applicants (Applications divided by Visits).

Devices report

This report shows which devices your visitors use and identifies the devices generating the most applications.

Use this data to ensure your career site and application form are optimized for the most common devices. For example, if you see a lot of traffic from mobile devices, test the application form on mobile to guarantee a smooth candidate experience.

Device

The device the visit was made: Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, or Unknown.

Visits

The number of visits from the specific device. One visit is a visit with a unique ID stored in the browser cookie for that day (counted from 00:00-23:50 GMT)

Pageviews

Total amount of pageviews during the visits.

Applications

The number of applications submitted using the different devices.

Conversion rate

How many of your visitors were converted into applicants (Applications divided by Visits) per device.

Traffic sources report

This report shows where your visitors came from before arriving at your site. Understanding your traffic sources helps you identify which channels are driving the most visitors and applications, so you can focus your efforts there.

Name

The name of the visitor's source.

Visits

The number of visits generated from the specific source.

Applications

The number of applications submitted by visitors coming from the source.

Conversion rate

The percentage of visitors from the source who submitted an application (Applications divided by Visits).

Avg. candidate rating

The average candidate rating for candidates who applied through the source.

You might notice some recurring sources:

Source

Description

Unknown source

The number of visitors for whom no tracking information could be found. This is often due to visitors using an ad blocker, incognito mode, or accessing the site through an email link, which will remain unknown.

Content pages

The number of visitors accessed your site via one of the content pages created on your account.

New_job
(Connect emails)

The number of visitors who accessed your site via the job subscription emails sent to connected candidates.

Employee dashboard

The number of visitors who accessed your site from your Teamtailor Employee dashboard.

Promotions report

In the Promotions report, you can track the effectiveness of your external promotions. See which ones generated the most visits and achieved the highest conversion rates, in other words, where you’re getting the best return on your investment.

This report lists the promotions you’ve activated through the Promote tab in your jobs, tracked using special tracking links.

The name of the promotion.

Visits

The number of visits generated through the specific promotion link.

Applications

The number of applications submitted via the specific promotion link.

Conversion rate

The percentage of visitors from the promotion who submitted an application (Applications divided by Visits).

Avg. candidate rating

The average candidate rating for candidates who applied through the promotion.

Avg. application rating

The average application rating for candidates who applied through the promotion.
