Use a Call to action block to convert passive visitors into active applicants

A Call to action (CTA) block offers many benefits, such as helping to direct visitors attention and guide them toward the desired action. The CTA button text is fully customizable, enabling you to make your message as compelling as possible. They can be added to different types of pages on your career site, maximizing their impact.

Add a CTA

Start by navigating to the page in question in Content. There open the Block library at the bottom corner and select the Call to Action block:

Purposes

Adding the Call to action block will give you several options, and will allow you to choose the purpose/goal of the button. It's a good way to convert visits to specific pages, prompt visitors to connect, and perhaps increase traffic to your posts. 

Let’s take a look at the different purposes:

Option

Description

Get more job applications

Link the CTA to a job ad or directly to the job application form to encourage applicants.

Get more connects

Use this option to encourage visitors to connect with your company.

Show a department

Direct visitors to a specific department page, allowing them to learn more about the teams within your company.

Show your employees

Redirect visitors to the people page to highlight your employees.

Increase traffic to your blog

This option sends visitors to your posts, helping to build traffic and engagement.

Increase traffic to a page

Link to a custom page to guide visitors to the content that matters most.

Redirect visitors to a custom URL

Add a link to any external page (outside of Teamtailor), for eg your main website.

Design

The design of the button will match the settings made for colors and buttons in your Global design.
