Learn how to automatically send candidates into HoorayHR

By activating the HoorayHR integration, you'll be able to add triggers that automatically send candidates into your HoorayHR platform.

Getting started in Teamtailor

To enable the integration between HoorayHR and Teamtailor, you connect your existing HoorayHR account to Teamtailor through our Marketplace page.

Make sure to be logged in to your HoorayHR account and head over to the Teamtailor marketplace in your account. Search for HoorayHR and simply click 'activate'. You will be redirected to HoorayHR to accept the access request.

You will be able to find the Teamtailor connection in your HoorayHR account under 'integrations'.

Note: in case you want to deactivate and reactivate the Teamtailor x HoorayHR integration you need to remove the integration from both Teamtailor and HoorayHR.



Set up the trigger in Teamtailor

Now the integration is activated you can head over to one of your jobs in Teamtailor. From the applications view, you should click on the Triggers symbol (1).

Select the stage from which you want the transfer to trigger by clicking the ➕ (2) in that stage. Candidates that are moved to this stage will be automatically be moved into HoorayHR.

Select Send to HoorayHR as new employee to add the trigger.

Note: The fields first name, last name, and email are mandatory and show on the candidate card in Teamtailor. The fields always need to be filled for the transfer to HoorayHR to work. The Phone number field always shows on the candidate card, but is optional.

After triggering the integration you will directly find the candidate in your HoorayHR 'colleagues overview'. In the profile you will also see all the custom fields you have transferred (e.g. phone number, gender, etc.).


Set up custom fields

You can transfer several custom fields from Teamtailor to HoorayHR. For this you need to set up some custom fields on your Teamtailor account. Go to the settings in your Teamtailor application and find 'custom fields'. Click 'new custom field' to start adding the below fields (only field type and title need to be defined).

Note: Make sure to use the exact wording for the custom fields. This is required for the system to understand where to put the data in HoorayHR

  • gender: text; the value needs to be one of: Unknown, Male, Female, Other, Not specified

  • civilStatus: text; the value needs to be one of: Unknown, Unmarried, Married, Registered partnership, Permanently divorced, Widowed, Cohabiting, Divorced, Partnership ended, Surviving partner

  • addressStreet: text;

  • addressNumber: text;

  • addressAddition: text;

  • zipcode: text;

  • city: text;

  • country: text; the value needs to be the same as available countries in HoorayHR accounts

  • bankAccountNumber: text;

  • bankAccountNumberOnBehalfOf: text;

  • citizenServiceNumber: text;

  • emergencyName: text;

  • emergencyRelation: text;

  • emergencyPersonalPhone: text;


What data is transferred?

Once the HoorayHR integration is triggered the following information will be transferred. This however depends on the custom fields that you've set up, only first name, last name, and email is always transferred.

  • civilStatus

  • addressStreet

  • addressNumber
