What is this and why should we use it?
The Candidate Chat is the best way to start talking to your candidates effortlessly and instantly. Make sure you're available for those dream candidates, and don't risk losing them between your job ad and their application. The Candidate Chat is easy to set up, and you can choose just how active you want to be. Use it more frequently for those job positions that are hard to fill, or more seldom and let the tool respond to your visitors.
How does it work?
The Candidate Chat is available as:
- A general chat for your career site (you always have the option to deactivate it for specific job ads) This can be activated in General Settings.
- Activate it for each specific job ad. You can activate it when you're creating a job ad. See image below.
So you can either choose to activate it when you post a job ad, or as a general chat that will show up on every page. However you can always choose to deactivate it on specific job ads.
As the career site visitor is browsing through your career site or reading a job ad, the Candidate Chat will be visible as a circle at the bottom right corner.
If you want, you can activate a general message that will welcome the visitor to your site, as it pops up and makes a gentle sound. This will increase the amount of responses, as your chat will become more visible when activated.
In the chat, the visitor will be able to respond to you, and you will be notified.
The notifications are as follows:
A candidate writes in the chat on your career site: All admins will be notified
A candidate writes in a specific job ad: The sender of the message + the hiring team will be notified.
When a visitor has written in the chat, he or she will become a Lead and be visible in Candidates.
Communicate with your lead by clicking the notification or the name in Candidates, and then Message.
