In rare cases, companies may receive spam applications. If Teamtailor suspects a spamming attack, these candidates are automatically moved to a spam stage, where you can choose to discard them or move them to the inbox.
Identifying spam applications
For an application to be identified as spam, Teamtailor will look at two different criteria:
The application is made with an email domain added to our list of domains used for spamming historically.
If an application is submitted suspiciously fast, we assume it was likely made by a bot.
After an application is marked as spam, you can choose to discard the candidate or move them to the inbox. To help you determine if it's a genuine application, Teamtailor displays a brief summary, such as the email address, phone number, and time of submission.
If you wish to hide the spam applications stage, you can do so by clicking the Spam Applications button, located next to the Bulk option.
