Everybody wants to know more about their potential future coworkers. Let's make sure they know who you are, by editing your employee profile.
To edit your profile, head over to your Profile settings. This is accessed by clicking on the top right of the tool.
In your profile, you will see a few different tabs. Let's go through them one by one:
Under Profile, you'll see your recent activity as well as what Teams and Hiring teams you have access to.
Click on Edit to start editing your profile information. This is a great place for you to let your future colleagues know who you are.
💡 Why not make sure your team uses the same format for your bio? The Support team at Teamtailor uses the same format, and we really like that! See mine, the article's author, for inspo here!
When it comes to the edits, there are a few things that will be good for you to keep in mind:
Your profile will only be displayed on your company's career site if:
it is set to be a public profile, this is done by your Company admins.
Your profile must be completed to be displayed, and it is completed after you've added a profile picture and name.
Career site department: this is not only displayed on your profile, it will also mean you're displayed in a potentially added People block on the selected department's Department page.
Career site location: this is not only displayed on your profile, it will also mean you're displayed in a potentially added People block on the selected department's Location page.
If you work with Multiple languages of your career site, you will be able to add translations of your profile too 🌐
Under Account email, you see what email address you want to use when signing in to your account and you can update it here. Keep in mind that only you can update your own account email and that this is not possible if your company is using Single Sign On.
Under your settings, you can also edit your Email signature. This is automatically attached to the end of the emails you send from Teamtailor. You can edit it here!
💡 Note that you can add basic HTML code to your signature, to make it even more customizable.
