Change your notifications

Set when and how you want to be notified on new activity in Teamtailor

To change your notifications go to your Notifications settings. Click your profile picture at the top right of your screen and then Your account. Here, head over to Notifications.

You can receive three types of notifications, allowing you to view updates where you prefer.

  • Email - receive an email in your inbox of your login email address

  • Desktop - get a pop-up message/notification on your screen

  • Mobile - get a push notification via our app 

In-app notifications

You can find your in-app notifications conveniently placed at the top right of your screen under a small bell 🔔.

The notifications are organised in the following order:

  • Unread notifications from newest to oldest

  • Read notifications from newest to oldest

To mark a notification as read, you can click on it to view it, hover over it and select Mark as read, or use the Mark all as read option at the top right corner of the notifications panel. In addition, you can find a shortcut to adjust your notification preferences through the settings icon ⚙️.

General settings

These notifications regard general activity, related to your Teamtailor role and access.

Context

Candidate connects with your company

A new candidate - you have access to via a team - connects with your company.

*Only Company Admins don't need access via a team and always get notified

Candidate responds to a meeting invite

A candidate RSVPs to a meeting using the options 'Yes', 'Maybe', or 'No' they have in the invitation email.

Candidate replies to your message

The candidate replies to an email you sent.

Candidate picks time for a meeting

Your candidate selects a time slot in a booking form shared for a meeting.

New job is waiting to be published

A job is created by a Hiring Manager - who can create but not publish jobs - requiring you to publish it for them.

Job offer approval request

When Job offer is pending your approval.

Job offer approval reminder

Once a Job offer has been pending your approval for more than 7 days a reminder is sent to you to review the job offer.

New job is published

Whenever your company publishes a new job, users can get notified, regardless of their role or access.

New messages from leads

When a career site visitor contacts you through the candidate chat.

Team member mentions you

A user mentions you or your team (@name) in a comment on a candidate's profile.

Unread notifications digest

If you have any unread notifications a daily summary of those will be sent.

Hiring team

These notifications regard activity within specific jobs you are a part of as a member of the Hiring team.

Candidate answered Job offer

When a candidate RSVP to a Job offer.

Candidate answered questionnaire

Candidates answer a questionnaire.

Candidate has a new comment

A team member wrote a comment on a candidate card, either mentioning you, someone else, or no one.

Candidate gets a new result from a partner

Once a candidate gets a result from one of your integrated partners (eg assessment result).

Candidate replies to a message

A candidate answers a message.

Daily digest with all activity for a job

If there has been any activity in your jobs

Candidate applies for a job

When a candidate applies for a job. You also get a notification when a candidate gets referred.

External recruiter adds a candidate

An external recruiter sourced a candidate.

*Admin users outside of the hiring team will also be notified

These notifications regard activity for jobs where you're listed as the main recruiter.

Hiring team member leaves interview feedback

The interview kit was filled out to leave their feedback by a member of the hiring team.

Candidate applies for a job

When candidate applies for a job.

Hiring team member moved a candidate to a new stage

A user in he hiring team moves a candidate to another stage.

Requisitions

These notifications are available for companies using the Requisitions feature

Context

New requisition request

When a new requisition is pending your approval.

Requisition is approved

If a requisition has been fully approved that you have access to either as the creator, approver, or recruitment lead.

Requisition awaiting your approval

Once a requisition has been pending your approval for more than 7 days a reminder is sent to you to review the requisition.

Privacy managers

These notifications regard activity related to your candidate's data permissions and are sent to users listed as Privacy managers

Notification

Context

Data & privacy activity daily digest

If there is any activity related to your candidates' data in the form of a daily summary. Max. 20 events from the last day are displayed.

A notification when a candidate asks to be removed from your system.
