Under Settings → Recruitment → Co-pilot → Candidate management, toggle on Suggest existing candidates:
This Co-pilot feature helps you identify potential candidates in your existing pool by matching them to an open job and presenting them directly within the job process view.
Co-pilot’s candidate suggestions are one way to evaluate your current candidate pool. A human review is always expected to ensure the best fit for the role. Teamtailor offers a wide range of filtering and sorting options to make sure no strong candidates are overlooked.
Enable / Disable feature for a job
After activation, the option to enable or disable the feature will be available in your jobs and/or job templates in the editing mode under the Stages section.
Once enabled, you can click Suggest candidates in the purple stage in the job process view. The system will then start searching for candidates that match the identified requirements for the current job.
Please note! All users with access to the job where Suggest existing candidates are activated will be able to open and manage all suggested candidates.
This means that Co-pilot might suggest candidates that a member of the hiring team normally would not have access to see or manage. The user will only have access to candidate-related information; meanwhile, information added to the job context will not be visible. Read more about this here: What candidate data can be accessed by whom?
Hide Co-pilot stage
If needed, you can hide the Suggested stage in the job process view. You can do this by clicking the Co-pilot button next to the search bar. The feature will remain enabled and can be accessed again at any time by clicking the same button.
Suggested candidates
You will be presented with a maximum of 20 candidates that Co-pilot thinks fit the job. If you think a candidate is a good fit for the job, you click Move to Inbox to move the candidate into the job, which will mark it as a Sourced application.
Is the candidate not a good match for this role? Click on Not a fit and the candidate will disappear from this view and won't be suggested to this job again. It will, however, still be present in the candidate pool.
If yes, only candidates who have opted into future jobs permission will be taken into account and potentially suggested by Co-pilot.
If no, all candidates will be taken into account and potentially suggested by Co-pilot.
Candidate matches
Co-pilot begins by extracting the required skills from the job description and searching for candidates who match those skills.
The candidate information is then reviewed in two stages to determine whether a candidate should be included in the Suggested stage.
Stage 1:
An initial pool of 20 candidates is selected based on an overview analysis of the following data points:
Resume
Meeting summaries
Answers
Stage 2:
Each of these 20 candidates is analyzed in detail using the same data points, as well as:
Job applications
Messages
Locations (from job applications)
Inbox screening criteria (if enabled)
Excluded candidates
Some candidates are excluded from the search:
Internal candidates
Hired candidates
