We want to ensure that sourcing candidates is a smooth and seamless experience. With our sourcing tool, you can easily add candidates to Teamtailor without leaving the page where you found them. The browser extension works as a helping hand both when scouting for new talent and proactively building your candidate bank.
Add extension
The extension is available in the following browsers:
Additionally, you'll be able to access features from the candidate card directly within the sourcing tool. This allows for further interaction with the candidate, giving you a head start on the sourcing process.
Log in
When you open the browser extension, make sure you are logged in to Teamtailor. Once logged in, the extension will automatically connect to your account. As long as your login session remains active, the connection to the sourcing tool will stay intact.
If you have access to more than one Teamtailor account, you can switch between your workspaces at the top of the extension:
Source a candidate
When you have located someone you want to source into Teamtailor, simply click the extension in your browser and the pink plus sign.
Here, you can choose to either upload a resume to parse information from or fill out the fields manually. The website you are visiting will be added as the source automatically.
Once you have filled out the information, you have two options:
+ Add candidate: The candidate is added to the candidate bank, and you can continue sourcing more candidates.
Add and view →: The candidate is added to the candidate bank, and the candidate card is opened in the sourcing extension.
If the candidate already exists in the candidate bank, you’ll see a small call-out at the top with a link to the duplicate/s. The system identifies existing candidates based on their Email, Phone, or LinkedIn fields.
Candidate card
When opening a candidate through the sourcing extension, you will be able to access specific data and perform certain actions. Any adjustments made there will also be reflected on the candidate card inside the platform.
Profile
The following candidate information can be accessed through the sourcing tool in the Profile tab:

In addition, you will find these sections:

Comments
Under the Comments tab, you can view and add candidate comments. If the candidate is added to a job, you will also be able to access job application comments (given that you have access to the job in question).
Action menu
In the action bar at the bottom, you will find some further options:
Add the candidate to an active job process.
Book a meeting with the candidate directly through the sourcing tool.
An invitation link will be generated, which you can manually share with the candidate. This allows you to book a meeting with the candidate even if they don't have an email.
Add the candidate to an existing nurture campaign.
