Sometimes details on a candidate’s profile may need updating due to changes, misspellings, or inaccurate information. You can easily make these adjustments directly within the candidate profile.
Candidate card fields
When viewing a candidate card, you can add or update details in the following fields by simply clicking on them:
Email
Phone
LinkedIn
Edit profile
You can make further updates to a candidate by selecting Edit profile in the action bar under ⋮ More. Here you will have the option to adjust more information on this candidate.
Personal information
You can edit basic info such as the candidate's name, email, phone, and LinkedIn. Here you will also find the option to upload a profile photo of the candidate.
Pitch / Resume
If needed, you can also edit the candidate’s pitch* and attach a new resume to their profile.
* The candidate has the option of adding/updating their pitch when connecting with your company.
Statuses
You are able to manually update the Internal / Sourced status of the candidate. You can learn all about the candidate’s statuses here.
Locations
Your candidates will automatically belong to your different locations, depending on what job they’ve applied for or their preferences (added when they Connect). When editing their profile, you are able to update the location settings for the candidate.
Answers / Cover letter
Lastly, you have the option of updating the information added by the candidate.
Keep in mind! Changing the information left by the candidate should only be done if you have a valid reason to (after being in contact with the candidate).
When you are done, click Save, and the new or edited information will appear on the candidate's card. Once you edit a candidate's information, you will not be able to retrieve the old information. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of what fields you are editing.
