All your candidates will have one or several statuses in your account. Let’s take a closer look at them and what they represent.
Customize your columns in the candidate bank to display candidate and job application statuses there. Each status can also be found as a filter and saved as a segment.

Application statuses
The job application statuses provide an overview of where each candidate is in the recruitment process. They appear in the Application status column and can also be used as a filter in your candidate bank.
An application status reflects the Stage type the candidate is currently in, whether they applied themselves or you manually added them to the job. Since a candidate can be involved in multiple recruitment processes at the same time, they can also have multiple applications in the same application status.
Privacy statuses
The data and privacy statuses appear under the Candidate status column in the candidate bank, providing important information related to the permission to store the candidate’s data.
Use the filters under the Dates section to find candidates with a specific privacy status. Using date filters makes the search flexible and relevant. For eg, use After to find all candidates whose permission expired after a chosen date, or Any to find all candidates with expired permission.
Status | Description | Visuals |
Permission expired | The candidate's permission for data storage and use has expired, and they haven't renewed their permission. |
|
Permission missing | The candidate has yet to give you permission to store and use their data. |
|
Permission pending | If the status is pending, it means you've sent a permission request to the candidate but you are still waiting for their response. |
|
Data requested | The candidate has submitted a data request, asking you to share their data with them. |
|
Removal requested | The candidate has submitted a removal request, asking you to remove their data. |
|
Deleting soon | The candidate is flagged for deletion and will be automatically deleted within the next few days (countdown starting at 7 days). |
